I stongly recommend the two part vampire love story books Twilight and New Moon. I was unable to put them down and cannot wait until the third comes out. They were written by Stephanie Meyer and tell the story of a human girl who falls in love with a good vampire who unfortunently thirsts for her blood. A very good read. Check it out!

| Interesting.........Have you read the Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot? Definitely not vampire, but somehow not as dorky as they sound. way better than the movie (as they always are). the Earth my Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler is also fun, but A little less light hearted |

oh yeh. i've read every meg cabot book there is. love her novels. favorites are the 1-800-where-R-you series, Avalon High, and the Mediator series. As for the Round Butt book, i found it kinda depressing. not my type i guess. __________________ "We're on a mission from God." -Elwood Blues |

| Yeah, that book was depressing, although I thought the ending was really good. I like happy endings. Have you read the Gossip Girl series? I've heard they're good, but never read them. I can't decide whether they sound really good or really cheesy. |

i found those depressing too. i'm not really into the whole rich-girl drama stuff. i'm more into the mystery and romance type. __________________ "We're on a mission from God." -Elwood Blues |

Can you recommend any Princess Diaries read-alikes or uplifting romances? I'm kind of craving something happy for the summer, and it would be great if you knew any. The Face On The Milk Carton Series by Caroling B.Cooney, is really good. |

actually, i really enjoy crime-romance novels by Julie Garwood. Their quite romantic and the story-lines are very good. I recommend Slow Burn, Shadow Dance, and Murder List. Also, the book i originally recommended would be a good summer read. __________________ "We're on a mission from God." -Elwood Blues |
